Operation method of surface grinder:

1. Surface grinder positioning

The machine tool shall reserve more than 300mm outside the maximum movement space, each anchor screw shall be tightened, and the front, rear, left and right levels of the table top shall be within 0.04/1000mm. (Higher requirements for installing frequency converter)

Inspect every three months, adjust the level of the workbench, and tighten each anchor screw.

2. Surface grinder wheel

The selected grinding wheel must be able to withstand a cycle speed of more than 2000m/min.

Damaged grinding wheels are prohibited.

The flange of new grinding wheel must be balanced.

Before formal grinding, the grinding wheel needs to idle for 5 minutes.

The maximum feed stroke is 0.03mm for grinders below 800mm and 0.05mm for grinders above 800mm

3. Surface grinder spindle

Before installing the grinding wheel, make sure that the spindle rotates clockwise.

When starting the machine, the spindle must be turned on first and then the water flushing.

4. Hydraulic device of surface grinder

The surface grinder uses hydraulic oil with viscosity of 46.

The hydraulic oil of the new machine needs to be replaced after three months of use, and then once a year, and the oil tank must be cleaned.

Check the hydraulic oil level every day, and ensure that the oil level is between the minimum and maximum lines.

Before starting the hydraulic motor, make sure that the flow regulating lever is in the closed position.

Magnetic suction must be turned on before hydraulic pressure is turned on

5. Lubrication device of surface grinder

The lubricating oil is the guide rail lubricating oil with viscosity of 32. (Meiweida No.1 or 1405 is recommended)

Confirm the oil volume of the oil tank (pool) every day to ensure that it is above the offline level.

Check whether the guide rail oil path is smooth every week to prevent the guide rail oil loss.

It is recommended to clean the oil tank every three months.

Fill the lubricating grease regularly as required.

6. Left and right mechanism of surface grinder

It is prohibited to adjust the left and right stroke when the workbench is moving.

When the steel cable of the workbench is loose, it shall be adjusted immediately. (This article is applicable to manual models)

7. Flushing and dust suction device of surface grinder

The filter screen of the vacuum box must be cleaned every two weeks.

The cold water tank shall be cleaned once a month.

It is prohibited to use an air gun to clean the surface grinder.

Precautions for use of surface grinder:

1. Before using the machine table, check whether the left and right automatic control levers of the machine table are in place and whether the grinding wheel is firm;

2. When the left and right automatic control levers are started, pay attention to whether there are people on the left and right;

3. Use a special dresser for surface grinder to repair the grinding wheel;

4. Before the workpiece is processed, the burrs on the workpiece shall be removed, and the workpiece and the working platform must be wiped clean;

5. When the grinding wheel does not stop rotating, it is strictly prohibited to wipe the working platform under the grinding wheel and take and place the workpiece;

6. Before processing, check whether the disk is flat;

7. After the workpiece is placed, pay attention to whether it has been magnetically fixed;

8. Magnetic absorbing movable workpiece shall be fixed with stop block;

9. When the grinding wheel is working, irrelevant workpieces or objects shall not be placed on the working platform;

10. When the machine table automatically feeds, the operator shall not leave the work post or do anything irrelevant without authorization;

11. Knock the platform with unavailable items;

12. The workpiece shall be handled with care;

13. Do not use an air gun to clean the machine;

14. The guide rail needs to be oiled with a hand oil pump every 1 hour of operation.
